Rules and regulations for sending a Oregon Mechanics Lien
In Oregon, a mechanics lien must be filed within 75 days of your last date of furnishing labor and/or materials to the project. This marks the expiration of that period, and your claim of lien for this project must be filed before this date.
After completing the Oregon Claim of Construction Lien Form, you must deliver it to the appropriate parties required by statute. Notices are typically served on the property owner and, for sub-tier parties, the general contractor. However, depending on the type of notice, it can be helpful to send notices to anyone else who is in charge of your payment, like a lender or surety company on the project.

Can I file a mechanics lien in Oregon?
Yes you can. Commercial projects in Oregon do not require those notices. Only residential. I just liened a commercial project that was started in July 2022. Although Levelset still doesn't show that the project is even has a lien on it. We were a sub on it. I used RoHillCo and our attorney advised. Lien has been filed and now we wait to foreclose on the lien. First you need to send the 10 day intent to lien, if nothing happens in the 10 days then file the lien.
How to file a lawsuit to enforce a lien ?
Give me a call if you'd like, my firm specializes in collecting money and executing liens for contractors. you typically only have 90 days from the date of filing the lien to try and collect before having to file a suit to pursue foreclosure. I charge nothing upfront either. Joshua@wolfgangandrhodes.com (214) 518-9595
